In 2017, BCM Homes embarked upon what sounded like an impossible project - building a family holiday home suspended on the water's edge in Separation Creek, Victoria.

That project earned them 2024 Housing Industry Association's highest award.

Aptly called Horizon Wye River, the property was moulded into steep slope, successfully capturing the stunning panoramic views of the ocean.

One of the main challenges was transporting concrete to the site, all 1000 tonnes of it which involved 103 trucks coming from either Colac or Anglesea.
