President's Message

2025-26

It is a great honour to serve as President of the Rotary Club of Ballarat in this momentous year, as we celebrate our club's 100th anniversary.

Throughout 2025, we will be marking a century of service to our local, national, and international communities.

A highlight will be our Civic Recognition Ceremony at the Ballarat Town Hall on Tuesday, 12th August - exactly 100 years since our club's first luncheon meeting - where we will officially launch our Centenary Book.

Later in the year, we'll come together again to celebrate with a Centenary Dinner on Saturday, 13th December - the date on which our Charter was issued in 1925.

It seems especially fitting that Rotary International's theme for 2025 - 26 is Unite for Good. This beautifully captures the vision and spirit of our founding members, who came together a century ago to make a positive difference in their local community.

That same spirit of unity and service continues to inspire and guide us today.

Rotary has always been about people. As we celebrate the Rotary Club of Ballarat's remarkable 100-year journey, I believe our greatest strength remains our members and the people we serve.

Together, we have built a proud legacy - and together, we will shape an even brighter future.

Let's honour the past, embrace the future, and enjoy the journey along the way.

Yours in Rotary,

Peter Dunn

President 2025-26
