Annual General Meeting (AGM):

The AGM is a key event in our Rotary year. Thanks to all who attended the meeting. I would like to thank Judy Pickford and Robert Glass for their work to prepare the meeting documents.

The ever-active Community Service committee did it again by running our annal

Hat Day as a benefit for mental health. Thanks to Karyl and her team for organizing another monster raffle which resulted in us raising over $200 for mental health. Thanks also to those who donated raffle prizes.

Rotary Foundation

We were very fortunate to welcome PDG Anthony provided several excel- lent examples of the profound impact Rotary Foundation grants have upon individuals and their communities. Of course, we are all aware of the incredible work of the Foundation in striving to eradicate polio. Other major Foundation programs cover promoting peace, providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local communities, and supporting the environment. Anthony emphasized that the Rotary Foundation is 'our' charity and that we have significant involvement in the distribution of our funds.
