District Conference 2023 Gallery

The District 9780 Conference was held here in Ballarat for the first time in 13 years. The conference attracted over 300 participants from all corners of our vast district. It was terrific to see some of our club members in attendance to meet Rotary friends, to hear some of the wonderful speakers and enjoy the handson activities. As the club representative on the conference organising committee (who all wore Hawaiian shirts during the conference to indicate their role), It was great to see the conference be so well received by the delegates. A highlight of the conference was  recognition of our Club achievement as the second highest per capita donor of all District 9780 clubs to the Rotary Foundation for 2021-22. A very big thank you to all of our Rotary Foundation donors. Let's keep up the good work in supporting the Rotary Foundation. Thanks also goes to David Torrington who volunteered his time on Saturday to support Paul Barrett in managing the IT elements of the conference as well as acting as official photographer for the Saturday Plenary Sessions and the Conference Dinner on the Saturday night.
