Winston Loveland Music Award 2024 Gallery

The annual award given to a senior secondary student in a bid to assist them in their passion for music was presented to Y12 Ballarat Clarendon College Performing Arts Leader Zion Lam.

An alto saxophonist, Zion leads saxophones in the Graeme Vendy Symphonic Band, the Barry Currie Stage Band, and is the founding member of the jazz band Hamish McDougall Jazz Ensemble.

Among other accomplishments, last year Zion completed the VCE Music Performance with a perfect studies score of 50, placing him in the top 0.3 of students enrolled in the subject.
